Doing some summer inventory in my apartment, I had piles and piles of clothing. I noticed that I out grown some, some I just did not like, and others were just out of style or out of my size. I thought to myself, "Dang! I need to get rid of these clothes, so I can make room for some hot new clothes!".
Are you holding onto something that God has shown, told you and everyone else has told you that you need to get rid of?
This could be a bae, job, or even something as clothing, that God is trying to bless you with, that you are holding and trying to make it fit.
Most of the things that you are trying to fit yourself is doing more harm than good to yourself.
I have discovered that anything that you are TRYING TO MAKE HAPPEN is not supposed to work. In fact, Romans 12:2 states, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
What I discovered that is much more motivating is that God has somethingsooo much better that fit you that, flatters your body, situation and who you are. See, our Father knows us better than ourselves and He knows what's best for us. He created us so He knows the best fit regardless of how we may feel about it. The outcome is always better, peace, looking more stylish, and much, much more!
1 Corithians 15:33 states, " Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals.” "Why hold onto that bae who is obviously keeping your fresh glass dirty? Why keep that toxic lifestyle that is leading you into destruction? Why hold onto those jeans that obviously is not flattering to yo shape and that you have outgrown, destroying your appearance?
Even when I took out the old, like bad baes, clothes and jobs, God has immediately put the right thhings in my life. You are confirmed with that with a sense of peace and not a struggle mentality to ensure that. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace, and anything outside of that which is causing hardaches, grief, stress, and trauma is not what the Lord wants. Period. Why stick with that when the Lord can bring you something 110 times better with peace, and it's blesses the desires of your heart, versus trying to force a situation be like you want it to be?
It's a NEW DAY!
Go through inventory of what is old, tarnished in your life so the Lord can bless you with new opportunities, new people and new everything!
