Them Jeans Is Worn Out (God Has the Very Best)!

First of all - I don't believe in the word try. So if you are trying, it's not meant to be because you should JUST DO IT! I was so inspired by this message ...(narrated by Pastor Jenkins of First Baptist Church of Glenarden)

So often we try to force ourselves in something that God has obviously shown us that we have outgrown and it is not for you. This includes relationships, friendships, habits, certain personality idiosyncrasies, and even clothes! Yes, gurll.. stop trying to fit your behind in those jeans that is obviously tired, worn out and ready to go!

This is something that I had to wrestle with. With someone that is from the great saving money state of New Jersey, we are born in knowing how to reburish, resell, and hold onto to something to the very last state of it to hold on to its value. However, what I learned that's wrong with it is that you are literally keeping yourself bound or imprison with something that you need to release. Why hold on to garbage when the only thing it's doing is stinking up your area? Why hold onto to people and forcing things to work when they have shown you who they are?

And again, why you holding on to them jeans when there are some new jeans that fit your new shape, on style and brand new?

I'm not saying you have to constantly have to upgrade but be aware of holding of things that are not giving you a return on your investment. If someone cannot accept you for who they are and are not forgiving - JUST STOP TRYING! You are PASSING UP the BRAND NEW THINGS that LOVE YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE, that God has prepared for you, and works for your shape. I understand that it's easier said than done when it comes more so for people, jobs or habits, but being in anything that is not returning you on an investment is toxic and detrimental to your growth and well being.

I love this picture too that I always reminds me of what's best that God has for you...

Now, don't read this and quit your job. Be smart. You have to grow and commit to what you have that shows opportunities for growth. including promotions, marriage, etc. But I'm talking about things including that bae you have and you tryin' to have him/her commit but they don't respond and you are literally at war with yourself in tryin to get them to be something they aren't. Phew that was a lot! Or trying to become a Manager in a job that does not even respect your background or shows opportunities for growth. And we talked about them jeans....

TRUSTING God and letting go of holding on to what YOU THINK IS THE BEST will allow the Lord to release HIS BEST FOR YOU - which is always BETTER THAN WE IMAGINE! Don't forget he created us so He knows us better than we think we know ourselves (something I had to finally admit- as a fiesty/stubborn Jersey woman that I am lol).

Stop trying to compete, force yourself, change who you are, and fit into something that God doesn't want you to have! It's all for a reason that it ain't working - if you TRUST HIM.
