Make your pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork meal or whatever not basic but SPICY!!

Course: Main Course

Cuisine: American - Southern BBQ

Prep time: 5 minutes

Total time: 1 hour

Servings: 6 servings

INGREDIENTS

2 Pound Pork Roast

Dry Rub

BBQ Sauce of Your Liking

Jalapeño Pepper

White Rice

Corn

SUPPLIES

1 Aluminum Pan

2 Small Pots

DIRECTIONS

1. Thoroughly thaw out meat prior to cooking in oven.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

3. Once thawed, place meat into aluminum pan and separate thawed meat in pan. Make sure it is thinly separated (no huge clumps).

4. After first 30 minutes, take out meat from oven, "pull" meat apart with a fork and flip meat around in pan w/ a spatula. Put the shredded pork back in the over for the remainder of 30 minutes.

5. While Cooking:

  • Rice: Cook rice of your choice the 20 minutes before pulled pork comes out.

  • Veggies : I made corn as my veggies 10 minutes before meat came out. Some other complimentary vegetables are corn-on-the-cob or coleslaw.

  • BBQ Sauce: Grab your bbq sauce, put in extra cayenne pepper, and heat in pan for the last 10 minutes of pulled pork cooking.

  • A lil' extra spice: Mix in juice from & throw in Jalapeño Pepper(s) juice in bbq sauce pan. Let Jalapeño sit in sauce.

  • Other Compliments: If you don't want the pulled pork naked, put it in a bun or taco shell!

6. When the meat looks browned and meat falling apart, it's ready to serve. Take it out the oven.

7. To serve, sprinkle cayenne pepper and jalepeño pepper juice to meat. Take fork and pull pork apart for a final time.

8. To plate: Put meat on plate. Add bbq sauce on top and/or side for dipping. Put meat inside bread or shells, if desired. Add sides to plate. Enjoy!
